Electrical

PROCON E&C self-performs electrical work in industrial and advanced manufacturing plants: power distribution from the switchboard to the equipment disconnect, switchboards and transformers, feeders and busway, underground duct banks and site feeders, motor control centers and drives, cable tray and raceway, grounding and surge protection, facility lighting, cleanroom power and data center power, tested and turned over with our own crews. Our electricians work alongside our low-voltage and I&C crews, so the panel and the tray are one team's job.

ELECTRICAL, CONTROLS & LOW-VOLTAGEThis page covers power. Communications, instrumentation and controls (I&C, PLC/DCS, HMI) and electronic security, built by the same team, are on the detail page: Low-Voltage Systems

WHAT WE BUILD

WHAT WE SELF-PERFORM

Power distribution

Power distribution from the switchboard to the equipment disconnect, including panel expansion in operating plants.

Switchboards, switchgear and transformers

Main switchboards (MSB), switchgear and panelboards set, landed and labeled, and dry-type transformers connected with the feeders on both sides.

Feeders and busway

Feeders, busway and branch circuits, plus UPS and battery systems for critical loads.

Motor control centers and drives

Motor control centers (MCC) and variable frequency drives (VFD) set, terminated and labeled, with the motor feeders.

Underground and site electrical

Duct banks and site feeders between buildings, pads and equipment yards.

Cable tray and raceway

Aluminum ladder and solid-bottom tray, conduit, hangers and supports, with power and low-voltage cable kept apart.

Grounding and surge protection

Ground bus, grounding straps, pedestal ground clamps and tray bonding on every run, plus surge protective devices (SPD) at the switchboards and panels.

Cleanroom and fab tool power

FFU power and communication, cleanroom lighting power, and feeders, disconnects and power hook-up for fab tools and process equipment.

Data center power

Switchgear, busway, UPS, server-room lighting and facility monitoring for plant IT rooms and data centers.

Facility lighting

General interior and exterior facility lighting and emergency lighting, plus lighting power for cleanrooms and server rooms.

Testing and turnover support

Our installation tested within the contract scope, labeled and documented with as-built markups for the owner's turnover.

Controls and low-voltage

Instrumentation and controls, PLC/DCS, network and security are the same team's work. See the Low-Voltage Systems page for the detail.

ALL PROJECTS

One integrated team

Cleanroom architecture, electrical and controls, HVAC, AMHS, and equipment setting and hook-up under one contract.

Fewer interface gaps, no finger-pointing between trades, fewer delays.

Digital project delivery

In-house BIM resolves clashes before installation, and our own project management platform logs site activity the same day.

Clients see site status the same day and get closeout documents faster.

COMMON QUESTIONS

FAQ.

What electrical work do you self-perform?
Power distribution from the switchboard to the equipment disconnect: switchgear and main switchboards, dry-type transformers, busway, feeders and branch wiring, underground duct banks and site feeders, motor control centers (MCC) and variable frequency drives (VFD), UPS and battery systems, equipment power hook-up, cable tray and raceway, grounding, bonding and surge protection (SPD), facility lighting, and lighting power for cleanrooms and server rooms.
What licenses do you hold?
Georgia Electrical Contractor, Class II (Unrestricted). Georgia Commercial General Contractor license. Electrical and general contractor licensing across multiple U.S. states, with additional states added to match project locations.
Have you built data center electrical?
Yes. At LGES Georgia in Ellabell we delivered the battery plant's complete IT data center and server room, including electrical, for the plant's construction contractor. The electrical work covered switchgear, busway, UPS and batteries, a dry-type transformer, power and communication cable tray, grounding, server-room lighting and facility monitoring.
Can you wire FFUs and cleanroom lighting?
Yes. At SK hynix Indiana we carry FFU power and communication wiring, the FFU communication duct and lighting fixture power connections as part of the cleanroom system ceiling package.
Do you test and turn over your work?
Yes, as turnover support. We test our own installation within the contract scope, label it, mark up the as-builts and deliver the turnover documents.
What is outside your scope?
Utility service and fire alarm are by others. We test within our contract scope, label, document and support the turnover.
