Cleanrooms are the core of PROCON E&C’s self-perform work. From ISO Class 8 support areas to semiconductor fab cleanrooms at the highest cleanliness classes (ISO 14644), we build the envelope, ceiling, floor and air path as one system, and we install the doors, pass-throughs and lighting that keep the classification intact. Our own crews also set the HVAC equipment and run the ductwork that feeds the room, and the same crews serve semiconductor, chemical and life science plants and data centers.

FAQ.
- What cleanroom systems do you install (system ceiling, FFU)?
- We self-perform the full cleanroom envelope: modular wall panels, system ceilings and walkable grids, fan filter units (FFU) with HEPA or ULPA filters, and raised access floor. We also install cleanroom doors and windows, air showers, pass-throughs and sealed cleanroom lighting, and we build the walls, ceiling, floor and air path as one system.
- What cleanroom classes do you build?
- Under ISO 14644, from ISO Class 8 support areas to semiconductor fab cleanrooms at the highest cleanliness classes, including classified anterooms and gowning sequences. We seal penetrations to keep the envelope tight and coordinate with the balancing (TAB) contractor.
- Do you self-perform cleanroom HVAC?
- Yes. We set and connect AHUs and MAUs, FFUs, dry cooling coils (DCC) and exhaust fans, and install supply, return and exhaust ductwork, scrubber exhaust ducting and louvers. We also build industrial HVAC and ductwork outside the cleanroom, such as in battery plants. TAB is by others.
- Have you built system ceilings in semiconductor fabs?
- Yes. Recent work includes cleanroom system ceiling packages for SK hynix in West Lafayette, Indiana and Amkor in Arizona, and system ceiling grid, blind panels and FFU at a semiconductor fab in Taylor, Texas. The same crews also work in data centers and life science facilities.
- Can you also handle electrical and low-voltage systems inside the cleanroom?
- Yes. Electrical and low-voltage systems (communications, I&C and security) are PROCON self-perform scopes, so one contractor can carry the cleanroom envelope and the systems inside it. Fire alarm and utility service are by others; we coordinate those interfaces.
- Where do you work?
- Across the United States. We are headquartered in Buford, Georgia, have project experience in 16 states, and hold electrical and general contractor licensing across multiple states, including a Georgia Electrical Contractor license (Class II, Unrestricted) and a Georgia Commercial General Contractor license.
- How do you handle safety (OSHA 10/30/500, EMR, drug testing, E-Verify)?
- Our policy is OSHA 10 for every field worker, OSHA 30 for foremen and OSHA 500-level training for safety managers. Our EMR is 0.92, and we run drug testing and use E-Verify.
