INDUSTRIES · FAB FIT-OUT

Semiconductor & Advanced Packaging

Fab owners and their contractors award tightly defined packages. PROCON E&C builds the cleanroom system ceiling, the power and communication wiring that feeds its filter units and lights, the I&C tray that runs down to the sub-fab, and the security and communication systems on an active fab jobsite. Our own crews do this work on fab and advanced packaging programs in Texas, Indiana and Arizona.

THE CHALLENGE

WHAT OWNERS RUN INTO

The ceiling sets the sequence

The system ceiling, FFUs and AMHS rail go in first, and every trade below them works to that sequence.

Clean while you build

Work in classified areas follows clean protocols, so crews must be trained for it and areas turned over clean.

Many trades meet at one tool

Each tool needs power, controls, network and process piping connected in the same short window.

One integrated team

Cleanroom architecture, electrical and controls, HVAC, AMHS, and equipment setting and hook-up under one contract.

Fewer interface gaps, no finger-pointing between trades, fewer delays.

Korean experience, U.S. codes

Bilingual Korean–English teams bring experience from Korean advanced-manufacturing plants and build to U.S. codes and practice.

Built for Samsung, SK hynix, LGES and Hyundai plants.

COMMON QUESTIONS

FAQ.

Do you install cleanroom system ceilings and FFUs in semiconductor fabs?
Yes. At Samsung's fab in Taylor, Texas our crews install the system ceiling grid, blind panels, FFU and BFU, chemical filters and box lighting, area by area. We are also building cleanroom system ceiling packages for SK hynix in West Lafayette, Indiana and for Amkor's advanced packaging campus in Peoria, Arizona.
Can the same team handle the electrical work in the cleanroom ceiling?
Yes. At SK hynix Indiana our package covers the system ceiling plus FFU power and communication wiring, the FFU communication duct, lighting power connections and site container power. Power and communication cable share tray with barrier strips, and every run is grounded.
Do you install I&C tray and site systems on fab jobsites?
Yes. On SK hynix Indiana we install I&C cable tray from wafer test down to the sub-fab. On the same jobsite we install gateway fiber links, guard-booth card readers and tower-crane speakers while the fab is under construction.
Do you set tools and do tool hook-up?
Yes. We set tools and hook up their power, controls and network, and their process gas, chemical and UPW piping. Utility service and fire alarm are by others; we support testing and the turnover.
How do you handle safety on a fab site?
Every worker completes OSHA 10 and every foreman OSHA 30. A dedicated safety manager who has completed OSHA 500 runs oversight and training. Our EMR is 0.92, every worker is drug-tested, and we verify work eligibility through E-Verify.
